Carla is volunteering in Calry Parish, Sligo.
I’m Carla Marín Ruiz. I’m Chilean. I was born in Punta Arenas, Chile. When I was 11 yrs, I moved to Antofagasta (North of Chile). Here, I started to go to St. Saviour’s Church with my family where I knew what Jesus did for me and I saw how my sister was healed after prayer. I took the decision to become a Christian. After that, I was keen to speak to others about Jesus, but I didn’t know how to do it. I prayed that God teach me and since then, He has introduced me to many people who have helped me in my journey as a disciple of Jesus.
I’ve always been surprised by how big God’s plans are. I could never have imagined being in Sligo, Ireland working as a volunteer in Calry Parish Church.
I think to let God write my story is how fully I can live my life.
