Alison & Chris Hawksbee serving in Paraguay
Alison teaches English as a Second Language along with Science. Alison also has a remedial maths group for children with various health and learning problems.
Chris is trained as an agriculturalist and works with three of the 17 ethnic groups in Paraguay. Now living in Asuncion, he travels frequently to the Chaco. He negotiates between the church and people in the Chaco with the Paraguayan government and NGOs. He assists pastors of the Anglican church, encourages groups in Christian living, and advises on agricultural, sustainability and development issues.
